FRONT AND REAR RIM PROFILES

The F-RAPID are Individually designed to meet their unique demands. The front wheel is optimized for leading-edge performance giving speed and stability in a variety of conditions with a more rounded rim profile. The rear wheel profile is taller and is optimized for lower yaw angles with an emphasis on trailing edge performance.

EVERY GRAM COUNTS

The Lún HYPER team has managed to achieve an average weight reduction of over 50g per wheelset compared to the previous model. This reduction in weight should help to improve acceleration, climbing performance, and overall efficiency, making the Lún HYPER R67 2023 wheelsets even more attractive to serious road cyclists.

WIDER RANGE

The shallowest wheel is now shallower than ever at 35mm, and the deepest is deeper than ever at 68mm, providing options for climbers and speed lovers alike.

28% INCREASE IN DRIVE SPOKE ANGLE

By increasing the drive-spoke angle by 28%, Lún HYPER 2023 wheels offer greater torsional stiffness and more direct power transfer, resulting in a 15.7% increase in torsional stiffness.

RIM BRAKE

Lún Hyper R67 2023 wheels are available in rim brake formats. However, due to the new wider width of the rim. Compatibility information is provided for customers to check actual dimensions.

FILAMENT WOUND RIM

The filament-wound rim keeps weight down and acceleration fast. The butterfly weave finish reinforces the rim at the spokes while keeping weight down across the entire rim.

CARBON SPOKES

Carbon spokes are lighter and stronger than their traditional steel counterparts and offer great ride characteristics of snappy acceleration and greater wheel stiffness during sprints.

TUBELESS READY

Lún Hyper 2023 wheels support tubeless tires, with small tweaks to the rim that make tubeless setup easier. Regular clincher tires and tubes are also supported.

ROBUST HUB

The hub is the heart of any wheelset, and Lún Hyper 2023 wheels have a strong oversized 17mm axle that can cope with the forces of any sprint effort. Large 6903 and 6803 bearings placed in reinforced bearing seats help improve bearing life and lower rolling resistance.

UCI APPROVED

All Lún HYPER R67 wheels are UCI approved and ready to race, having been tested extensively in both lab conditions and real-world testing to ensure performance and reliability.
