Sturdy metal stand

Way better than I expected

I didn’t expect the stand to have the fit and finish of an Apple product, but it did a good job of getting pretty close. The stand feels sturdy and of high quality. The magnets are strong enough to hold the iPad without any worry, but are loose enough to let me take off the iPad with one hand and no struggle. The options to swivel it back and forth, and between landscape and portrait is a great feature. The hinge is quite tight and holds the iPad in place with no wobble. Had there been wobble, it would have been a deal breaker for me. This fit and finish matters a lot to me, and this stand nailed it.

The only negative for me is that the swivel mechanism is a bit too tight. I understand that it’s better to err on the side of being more tight than less, to account for possible wear and tear down the road. However, because of this tightness, one cannot hold the iPad with one hand and simply swivel it to the desired position. One must hold the iPad and the stand with both hands and carefully adjust its position. This is a bit disappointing but certainly not a deal breaker.
