Better than it looks, Better than expected

I have the DSP version.

OK…to be honest, I wasn’t buying this for my daily music consumption. My primary goal was a simple, diminutive wired earphone for taking calls and maybe consume some content on the move. I didn’t want to carry a dongle DAC too and so preferred the convenience of a direct plug-in. But considering most USB-C earphones are rather pathetic, I thought I will buy something a bit better. I also did not want the loop over the ear style version but rather preferred a traditional down wire style IEM. Having many more expensive IEMs with multiple DD, Planar and BAs, my bar was set high and thus my expectations were considerably low for this small sized single driver IEM.

I couldn’t have been more wrong !! While certainly not the best sound I’ve heard but it punches well above its weight. The bass is pronounced (though not impeccably tight) as is the upper treble range (with some occasional sibilance in few tracks). The mids are a bit relaxed making it a typical V shape instrument. But at no point did I find it muddy or lacking clarity. It may not be technically precise but it surely is exciting and fun to listen to. I suspect most first time IEM users are going to love it. The cherry on the cake is the microphone quality !! The sound as well as the performance of the microphone makes this unit beat any TWS out of the water. The wire is not of very high quality but I don’t expect more at this price, especially considering that you already save on the cost of a separate DAC

In short, highly recommended ! 👍
