Sony specially developed new Integrated Processor V1 for WF-1000XM4 headphones, that cancels more noise than ever. Bluetooth "System on Chip" technology delivers the industry's highest level of noise cancelling yet uses less power. It also increases noise cancelling by generating a high-precision cancellation signal to the low-frequency range. In addition, Noise Cancelling lets you hear the person on the other end of the call more clearly.

A newly designed 6 mm driver unit featuring a 20% increase in magnet volume and the high compliance diaphragm gives you improved performance in low frequencies. Noise Isolation Earbud Tips feature a unique polyurethane foam material which make it soft and elastic. They maximize the surface contact area between the earbud tip and the ear canal, eliminating gaps to insulate sound and reduce noise. It also improves adhesion to the ear canal for a more comfortable fit.

Once you speak to someone, Speak-to-Chat automatically pauses the music and lets in ambient sound so you can conduct a conversation handy. Once your chat is over, your music will starts playing again automatically. Speak-to-Chat recognizes and reacts to your voice, It is based on Precise Voice Pickup Technology which combines four microphones and sensors with advanced audio signal processing.

Sony WF-1000XM4 has two noise sensing microphones per ear, one is for feed-forward and second one is feed-back. Precise Voice Pickup Technology uses beamforming microphones and a bone-conduction sensor to allow the earbuds to pick up your voice clearly and accurately for hands-free calls at home, in a café or wherever you are. Headphones Connect app will provide you a notification, when your charging case drops below 30%. The WF-1000XM4 earbuds feature Qi technology for easy wireless charging. You can use a smartphone with Qi technology to charge the earbuds.
