Softears – RSV-MKII 5BA 4-Way Crossover IEM

The Softears RSV MK2 employs a sophisticated 5-Balanced Armature driver setup in each earbud, designed for high-resolution audio reproduction. It uses dual Knowles CI22955 drivers for delivering a powerful & dynamic bass with exceptional clarity, an improved ED driver that ensures vocal richness and midrange accuracy, and a SWFK composite driver responsible for detailed treble performance. This configuration delivers excellent driver separation which allows for a natural and balanced soundstage with vivid instrument layering and realistic tonal portrayal across the spectrum.

This IEM incorporates an upgraded four-way LRC crossover network with seven precision components and four independent acoustic tubes that precisely manage driver output. This system ensures minimal distortion and maximum efficiency by aligning phases and distributing frequencies impeccably, empowering the drivers to produce a cohesive and pristine sound signature. The dual-bass tube design is a standout feature that enhances bass response, eliminating typical BA driver bass dryness and tinny sound, while improving note texture and low-frequency coherence across a wide range of musical styles.

The RSV MK2 integrates Softears’ patented dual pressure relief technology combined with a passive air-damping system, which actively balances the air pressure between the ear canal and the IEM housing.
