Description

The Softears RSV MK2 sets a new benchmark for reference-grade all-BA IEMs. It features 5 Balanced Armature Drivers on each side with a unique four-way crossover and four independent acoustic tubes. It uses Dual Knowles CI-22955 drivers for powerful yet textured bass with an upgraded dual-tube design that delivers punchy mid-bass and extended sub-bass without any bloat. The improved midrange ED driver offers lush vocals and precise imaging, while the SWFK composite driver produces fatigue-free highs. Softears has also utilized its patented dual-pressure relief and passive air-damping system balance ear canal pressure for exceptional comfort during long sessions. The ergonomic shells combine resin construction with CNC-machined alloy faceplates and a carbon-fiber V inlay. The package includes a high-purity 6N7 cryo-treated OFC cable with 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm termination plugs, plus premium ear tips for a secure fit and superior audio experience. The RSV MK2 is designed for audiophiles seeking top-tier clarity, dynamic bass and refined tonality in an elegant yet durable form.

COHESIVELY TUNED 5 BA DRIVER ARRAY

The Softears RSV MK2 employs a sophisticated 5-Balanced Armature driver setup in each earbud, designed for high-resolution audio reproduction. It uses dual Knowles CI22955 drivers for delivering a powerful & dynamic bass with exceptional clarity, an improved ED driver that ensures vocal richness and midrange accuracy, and a SWFK composite driver responsible for detailed treble performance. This configuration delivers excellent driver separation which allows for a natural and balanced soundstage with vivid instrument layering and realistic tonal portrayal across the spectrum.

INNOVATIVE 4-WAY CROSSOVER & ACOUSTIC TUBES

This IEM incorporates an upgraded four-way LRC crossover network with seven precision components and four independent acoustic tubes that precisely manage driver output. This system ensures minimal distortion and maximum efficiency by aligning phases and distributing frequencies impeccably, empowering the drivers to produce a cohesive and pristine sound signature. The dual-bass tube design is a standout feature that enhances bass response, eliminating typical BA driver bass dryness and tinny sound, while improving note texture and low-frequency coherence across a wide range of musical styles.

AUDIOPHILE GRADE REFERENCE-LEVEL TUNING

Softears RSV MK2 is tuned with an emphasis on reference-level neutrality combined with a tasteful boost in the bass region. The tuning delivers tightly controlled yet impactful low frequencies with deep sub-bass, smooth and natural midranges for vocals and instruments; extended but non-fatiguing highs. This careful distribution provides an open and spacious soundstage with precise imaging, enabling immersive listening with vivid details. It is optimized for a broad range of music genres and critical listening environments, striking a perfect balance between technical accuracy and musical enjoyment.

DUAL PRESSURE RELIEF & AIR DAMPING SYSTEM

The RSV MK2 integrates Softears’ patented dual pressure relief technology combined with a passive air-damping system, which actively balances the air pressure between the ear canal and the IEM housing. This reduces pressure build-up that often causes ear fatigue and discomfort over extended listening periods. This design innovation not only maintains sound stability and tuning integrity but also enhances comfort, allowing users to enjoy long listening sessions without fatigue or ear canal discomfort.

HIGH-QUALITY OFC CABLE & PREMIUM ACCESSORIES

The RSV MK2 comes with a cryogenically-treated oxygen-free copper cable featuring universal 0.78mm 2-pin connectors and a balanced 4.4mm Pentacon plug, ensuring high-fidelity audio transmission with minimal signal loss. Included in the package is a 3.5mm adapter, multiple premium ear tips in varying sizes, a cleaning brush, protective pouches, and a stylish carrying case. This comprehensive accessory kit enhances user convenience, compatibility, and personalized fit, making the RSV MK2 ready for diverse setups and everyday use with any audio source.

PREMIUM BUILD & ERGONOMIC DESIGN

Crafted using CNC-machined anodized aluminum with carbon fiber accents, the RSV MK2 features a robust yet lightweight shell that offers both durability and premium aesthetics. The 3D-printed ear cavity and anti-slip lip nozzle ensure a secure and ergonomic fit that seals comfortably in the ear canal. This design facilitates acoustic isolation and long-term comfort, making it suitable for extended wear. The understated and elegant finish complements its high-end appeal, reflecting sophisticated engineering and attention to detail in every aspect of its construction.
