Softears EDGE is the latest single Dynamic Driver IEM developed as part of the brand’s Lifestyle Listen Series, combining sophisticated acoustic engineering with a refined and engaging sound signature. Built around a custom-developed 11mm dynamic driver and Softears’ proprietary labyrinth acoustic chamber architecture, the Edge is designed to deliver a natural, coherent, and highly musical listening experience.

Its tuning emphasizes warmth, body and emotional engagement, with a rich midrange presentation that brings vocals and instruments to the forefront while maintaining a controlled low-end response and smooth treble reproduction. The labyrinth chamber design works alongside the driver to manage airflow and resonance, helping preserve clarity and tonal balance throughout the frequency range.

Housed in a precision-machined titanium alloy shell, the Edge combines durability, acoustic stability, and long-term comfort in a clean industrial design. Completing the package is a premium cable featuring a 7N high-purity rotary-forged OCC core with a dual-layer silver-plated outer structure, alongside Softears’ UC and Type-B eartips for an optimized listening experience straight out of the box.

At the heart of the Edge is a newly developed 11mm Dynamic Driver engineered specifically for the Lifestyle Listen Series. Combined with Softears' proprietary acoustic
architecture, the driver is designed to deliver a powerful yet controlled low-frequency response while maintaining natural vocal reproduction and tonal coherence throughout the frequency range. Rather than pursuing an aggressively technical presentation, the Edge focuses on delivering a natural and engaging sound with sweet musicality. LABYRINTH ACOUSTIC CHAMBER ARCHITECTURE

A key component of the Edge's performance lies in its proprietary labyrinth acoustic chamber design. Instead of relying solely on driver tuning, Softears utilizes a complex internal chamber structure to regulate airflow, control resonance, and manage pressure distribution behind the driver. The labyrinth architecture is specifically designed to absorb redundant low-frequency resonance and minimize unwanted internal reflections that can negatively affect clarity and tonal accuracy. By creating a more controlled acoustic environment, the system helps improve bass definition, vocal articulation, and overall coherence throughout the frequency range. The Edge comes equipped with a premium cable featuring a 7N high-purity rotary-forged OCC core
paired with a dual-layer silver-plated outer structure. According to Softears, the outer conductor layer is engineered to provide improved transmission efficiency while preserving the natural tonal characteristics of the OCC core. This conductor design is intended to enhance low-frequency authority, maintain
midrange density, and improve high-frequency extension while ensuring clean signal transmission throughout the frequency range.

Also included in the package are Softears' UC Eartips and Type-B Eartips, allowing listeners to experiment with fit, comfort and presentation while maintaining the intended acoustic performance of the Edge.
