Description

ONIX, a well-known UK brand, has launched the Alpha XL1, a new portable DAC & Amp. This digital-to-analog converter uses two high-quality Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs to deliver great sound. It has a balanced design with two special SGM8262 headphone amplifiers, providing up to 500 mW of power at 32 Ohms. The Alpha XL1 features a small 0.87-inch black-and-white screen for easy settings access and works with many different systems. It also has three buttons to control volume and playback. Deep black combined with golden yellow elements, in a sturdy body, combining elaborately machined aluminum, glass and smooth fake leather back.

DUAL SGM8262 OP-AMPS FOR VERSATILE HEADPHONE AMPLIFICATION

The Onix Alpha XI1 USB DAC is equipped with two SGM8262 operational amplifiers, which handle headphone amplification with precision. It delivers up to 500mW at 32Ω through its balanced 4.4mm output and 3.5mm output produces 2.4V at 32Ω (180mW) with a THD+N of 0.0004%, a dynamic range of 125dB, and an SNR of 126dB. In comparison, the 4.4mm balanced output offers 4.0V at 32Ω (500mW) with a THD+N of 0.0005%, a dynamic range of 129dB, and 99dB channel separation, ensuring top-notch audio performance.
