Description
Experience uncompromising clarity and realism with the Sennheiser HD 820 closed-back reference audiophile headphones — engineered for pure, distortion-free high-resolution audio. Powered by 56mm Ring Radiator dynamic drivers, concave Gorilla Glass acoustic reflectors, and an ultra-wide 6Hz–48kHz frequency range, the HD 820 delivers an expansive open-back-like soundstage with exceptional noise isolation — perfect for audiophile listening, studio monitoring, and critical music production.
Built in Germany with premium microfiber ear pads, a damped metal headband, and 3m impedance-matched balanced/unbalanced detachable cables, it offers superior long-session comfort and precision for hi-res playback, DAC/amp setups, mixing, and professional audio workflows.
LOW-DISTORTION 56MM RING RADIATOR DRIVER SYSTEM: Equipped with Sennheiser’s signature 56mm Ring Radiator transducers, these high-end audiophile headphones deliver extremely low distortion, precise transient response, and wide frequency extension. Every layer of your music—from deep bass textures to sparkling highs—sounds clean, vivid, and effortless, making them ideal for hi-res audio, lossless playback, and professional reference listening.
OPEN-BACK SOUNDSTAGE IN A CLOSED-BACK DESIGN: Unlike traditional closed headphones, the HD 820 uses concave Gorilla Glass covers to reflect sound waves back into absorbers, eliminating resonance and creating an open, expansive soundstage. Enjoy immersive imaging without disturbing others—perfect for studio monitoring, mixing, mastering, and noise-isolating audiophile listening.
ULTRA-COMFORT FOR EXTENDED LISTENING: Soft microfiber earpads paired with a dual-axis articulating earcup system adapt naturally to your head shape, delivering a perfectly balanced, pressure-free fit. Built for long studio sessions, these over-ear headphones ensure fatigue-free comfort—ideal for mixing, critical monitoring, audiophile listening, and high-resolution music production.
HIGH-END CONNECTIVITY WITH MAXIMUM SIGNAL PURITY: Comes with a balanced 4.4mm cable for superior channel separation and a 6.3mm unbalanced cable for traditional headphone amplifiers. Both cables are impedance-matched with ultra-low capacitance to preserve a clean, transparent signal—ideal for audiophile DACs, headphone amps, studio interfaces, and high-resolution audio systems.
GERMAN-ENGINEERED FOR HIGH-FIDELITY LISTENING: Manufactured in Germany using premium materials such as a metal headband, vibration-damped driver housings, and handcrafted ear pads. Each component ensures longevity, precision, and exceptional acoustic performance, making these one of the world’s top premium reference headphones for audiophiles and sound engineers.
