The ONIX Beta XI2 elevates the portable listening experience with its rare hybrid architecture, combining the analytical precision of a solid-state amplifier with the warm, musical richness of vacuum tubes. Featuring dual Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs, the XI2 ensures pristine, high-resolution audio decoding up to 768 kHz / 32-bit and DSD512. Its enhanced amplifier section utilizes dual OPA1662 and quad BUF634 chips, providing robust power and exceptional control for both sensitive IEMs and demanding full-size headphones. The inclusion of dual JAN6418 tubes for the balanced output path allows listeners to seamlessly switch to an organic, analog-like sound signature. Housed in a compact, rugged aluminum body with an intuitive 0.87'' OLED screen and physical controls, the Beta XI2 is a true high-fidelity desktop experience made pocketable.

DUAL CS43198 DAC ARCHITECTURE FOR MASTER-GRADE DECODING

The Beta XI2 is equipped with Dual Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips, providing a fully symmetrical audio path that achieves reference-grade decoding. This chipset is renowned for its excellent Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and ultra-low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). It is capable of processing ultra-high-resolution files up to 768 kHz /32-bit PCM and native DSD512, ensuring that every nuance and detail in the recording is faithfully reproduced with exceptional clarity and dynamic range.

HYBRID JAN6418 TUBE AMPLIFICATION FOR ANALOG WARMTH

Hi-Res Beta XI2 DAC introduces an extra tube output developed in collaboration with Shanling Audio, drawing on their expertise in tube design and the growing demand for portable tube solutions. It integrates a pair of durable, low-heat JAN6418 tubes securely within the chassis, visible through two subtle side windows that reveal their gentle glow. These tubes impart a natural warmth, spatial bloom, and an organic, analog-like timbre to the dedicated 4.4 mm balanced output. A dedicated system setting allows users to instantly switch the tube output on or off, offering the flexibility to match the sound to the mood or the music with ease.

UPGRADED QUAD BUF634 AND DUAL OPA1662 SOLID-STATE POWER ARCHITECTURE

The solid-state amplification path, which is available on both the 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced outputs, utilizes an enhanced amplifier stage. This architecture features 4 times BUF634 high-speed buffers and 2 times OPA1662 op-amps, delivering a clean, precise, and highly dynamic sound. The Beta XI2 features an upgraded amplifier architecture that delivers authoritative drive and control, with a maximum balanced output power of 550 mW at 32 Ω. This robust power ensures ample dynamic headroom and distortion-free performance across all music genres.

PREMIUM BUILD AND BROAD CONNECTIVITY

The Beta XI2 Portable DAC is crafted with a rugged, elegant metal body that is CNC-machined from aluminum, providing exceptional durability in a portable form factor (approx. 45.3 g). It offers 3.5mm single-+ended and 4.4 mm balanced headphone outputs for versatile connectivity. The integrated USB-C port enables seamless digital audio transmission across a wide range of devices, including Android, iOS (with appropriate adapter), Windows, and macOS. Furthermore, the DAC/AMP supports switchable UAC 1.0 and UAC 2.0 modes, ensuring universal compatibility with a broad range of systems, including smartphones, tablets, consoles and legacy devices. Included in the package is the signature golden-colored ONIX OL1 USB cable, crafted from high-purity silver-plated copper for superior signal delivery.

0.87” OLED DISPLAY WITH PHYSICAL BUTTON AND LED INDICATORS

Beta XI2 features a 0.87'' OLED screen that provides instant visibility of key operating parameters. Users can monitor the current sample rate, gain level, output filter, and device status at a glance. Complementing the display, physical hardware buttons offer convenient and tactile control over volume and settings, ensuring seamless daily operation without needing to rely solely on the source device. In addition to the screen, a multi-color LED ring on the device provides a quick visual reference for the active audio format and sample rate. For example, the LED illuminates Blue for 44.1/48 kHz, PCM, Green for 88.2/96 kHz PCM, Yellow for 176.4/192 kHz PCM, Purple for 352.8-768 kHz, and White for DSD formats.

It normally takes around 1 to 5 business days for delivery. We use premium service partners such as Blue dart, DTDC and Delivery for faster and reliable service.
