Description

HIGH-PERFORMANCE DUAL CS43131 DAC CHIPS: Dawn uses dual CS43131 DAC chips, each providing better decoding performance and high resolution. The SNR is up to 132Db dynamic range and DSD256 to ensure a clean and clear sound. With most earphones, you don't have to worry about the existence of background noise. And the decoding chip, amp, and digital receiving chip are all powered separately to further reduce distortion and floor noise of the output.

USBC TO 3.5MM /4.4MM MINI DAC/AMP: The Moondrop DAWN packs a powerful performance with its 3.5mm/4.4mm fully balanced headphone output port. The maximum line-out power of up to 4Vrms and about 230mW undistorted power @ 32Ω of load. It is ideal for most IEMs and some low-power headphones out there because it delivers such a powerful output.

COMPATIBLE WITH MAINSTREAM DEVICES:  Moondrop Dawn has USB Type-C interface and it is compatible with most smartphones, Windows/Mac PCs, and also with apple devices with appropriate adapters.

DUAL CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR: Moondrop Dawn adopts independent dual crystal oscillators that ensure high-quality digital signal transmission with ultra-low signal jitter. It packs a truly high-resolution sound experience in its compact form factor.

ULTRA LOW BACKGROUND NOISE: High performance fully balanced circuit and high-level hardware configuration. The background noise is as low as 1.3uVrms and SNR is as high as 132 Db (AES17 20Khz-Awt) Even for the ultra-sensitive multi-Bas earphone the background noise is also inaudible.

EASILY CONTROL: Dawn 3.5mm/4.4mm features the excellent multi-tone performance. Bring the restored timbre and detailed sound. Even for the complex large music programs.

CUSTOMIZE DIGITAL CABLE: DAWN uses customized parallel arrangement of high-purity copper silver-plated digital signal transmission cable. It is more beneficial to the transmission of digital signal than hand – woven audio cable. Ensure Low distortion and anti-interference of digital signals.

ALUMINUM ALLOY SHELL: DAWN 4.4mm is designed with aviation aluminum alloy CNC Shell. It not only has rigidity but also can shield external electromagnetic interference white matte paint spraying presenting delicate texture.

We usually ship orders on same day if ordered before 2 pm or within 24 hours if ordered later (except on holidays/sunday, where processing times may be higher) from one of our domestic warehouses based out of Delhi. It normally takes around 1 to 5 business days for delivery. We use premium service partners such as Blue dart, DTDC and Delivery for faster and reliable service. Moondrop dawn dac

Thanks to Concept kart for their incredible fast delivery of the product.This features a 4.4mm headphone output connector.It is fully balanced.No clue as to why you guys have mentioned 3.5mm in product description.
Featuring dual CS43131 dac in balanced connection,this dac outputs close to 4V in high gain.There is an app (Moondrop link) which helps you choose between different filters and gain settings.Low gain gives 2V.App works fine with Android.
Using dual CS43131 in balanced connection prevents impedance dependent output.Most single cs43131 usb dacs output based on impedance of the connected headphone.What you get here is full output in high gain with fantastic sound quality.Power consumption is moderate,slightly more the sonata HD pro,which is quite surprising.
I am using it with HD650,as these headphones have high impedance,they require higher voltage to drive them properly,Moondrop dawn does the job quite well.I haven't tested with low impedance headphones as I don't have any with 4.4mm terminations.A must buy if you have headphones with high impedance,this dac is simply ludicrously powerful!!
