CCACRA - kz kind treble leads to fatigue after long session

MONNDROP SSR - FLAT sound need lot of amp

Tripowin Mele - excellent bass and vocal but no treble

Tinhifi t3 plus (some claims it's better than Aria)- almost tie but it's 5800rs.

If u r new to this iem hobby and u mind a lot about price to performance ratio jus get this and a basic venture electronics DAC...live with it and sometime if u want to upgrade..jus go directly to 20k to 30k segment iem..don't waste your time and money in mid segment iems

P.s : my setup is OnePlus 7, Fiio Btr5 and power amp player and my playlist includes all kind of genre

This was my first moondrop purchase(Shenzhen audio) not headphonezone. I can say it was a waste of money atleast for me. I use my blon bl 03 with and without apple dac and the volume is surprisingly loud even at 50%. But this is not the case with the chu. Even at 70% its not that loud and above 70 treble starts piercing your ears. So its only good at home. Maybe its the problem with my unit. There's no thumping bass even with eq. Don't buy if you listen to EDM and POP.

Built - great metal built but doesnt hold upto some fancy built i prefer kz kinda shape and built cand like 🫰. Cable - sucks but not much canle seems ready to break i dont lean on it sus for sure not. A single good thing about it but yeah it works mic -better than other brands nice even for. Asmr now about sound - thats why you buy an iem btw i am spoiled by my tribit headphones bass thump without loss of trebel i d reccomend for the price tribit x free go and then i d like to tell you that chu (bamboo) are having good soundstage better than kz in this price i really wanna try cca cra but yeah soundstage is good bass is nice subtle enough and yeah use eq then the highs hmnnn that kinda trouble me high are. High not high enough sus hehe i mean they are high and crisp but you wish for more i think i am v shaped lol medium freqs are mid haha yeah you can hear vocals very noice and real but again i like more forward vocals neutralish (not for beginerrrrr) go for cca cra 🫰👉👈 but moondrop chu is best in world (as you are getting them for free with spring tips and the waifu box ❤️🫰

As expected from moondrop, it's a great piece of tech. I was so blown away. Trust me, just go ahead with the purchase, you definitely won't regret it. These are not for the "average consumers" who are definitely, and most probably into the "bass heavy" category. But for someone who is entering into the category of "pure music", it's glorius. Bass is not emphasized tooo much and is controlled so good, it doesn't bleed into the mids. Mids sound fantastic. Female vocals, Andrea in "Idhu varai", Ariana grande in "positions" were so precise and thier vocals were presented so tastefully. As for the treble, it was very well balanced, and didn't experience any fatigue.

Comfort: They might not look heavy, but to my surprise lol, they are heavy, but it doesn't affect the comfort in any ways. I had them comfortable over a 4 hour peaceful sleep session lol. Stock tips weren't my tips, I had some black silicone tips, and they did a nice job.

Soundstage: WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT SOUNDSTAGE. Using my internal dac in phone, the soundstage was already good and plenty enough. Then, damn, tried using, Macbook pro's internal dac and earmen sparrow, and viola, it's so WIDE. Imaging was so good, details were really crisp and clear.

If you are a beginner, it's just a no brainer. Start of a pure music era! Just don't hate it, give it time.

For people who already have experiences, with audiophile stuff, these are very well tuned and balanced and bang for the buck. Worth every single penny.

Cable: I wouldn't say these are great, I prefer to stay away from these, as I prefer detachable ones, but for someone who can take care of cables, these are really good choice. (I don't trust those cables, honestly) but it's not a deal breaker. I would say it's worth it.

Conclusion: Guys, these sound great! For the price, I would say it definitely does much better than it's paygrade.
