Description
The EPPFUN AK3040 TOPEST is a compact Bluetooth 6.0 USB-C audio transmitter designed to send audio wirelessly from compatible smartphones, tablets and computers to Bluetooth headphones or earphones. It offers three selectable transmission modes—Classic Bluetooth, LE Audio and Auracast—allowing users to select the appropriate connection according to the capabilities of their receiving device.
Classic Bluetooth mode supports a comprehensive selection of audio codecs, including SBC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX LL, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless and LDAC. LE Audio mode supports LC3 and aptX Lite, while Auracast mode enables the same audio broadcast to be received by multiple compatible devices simultaneously. Auracast transmission supports 24kHz and 48kHz settings and also provides password configuration for controlled broadcast access.
The transmitter can be operated directly through its physical controls or managed using the EPPFUN mobile application. The M button switches between transmission modes and audio codecs, while the C button controls playback, microphone functionality and resetting. Color-coded LED indicators make it easy to monitor pairing, connection, operating mode and active codec status.
Firmware can be upgraded through online OTA updates or the official EPPFUN website. The package also includes a compact 3.5 mm analog microphone that can be connected to a compatible controller or device microphone input for voice communication.
