TUBELESS IN EAR AUDIO

Tia is an IEM design methodology that aims to reduce unwanted resonance and distortion to create a transparent and lifelike sound signature. A TIA system consists of three major components: open balanced armature drivers, the single bore TIA design, and TIA acoustic chambers. As Trio utilizes the entire Tia system, its three drivers radiate freely into the bore with no obstructions.

AIR PRESSURE EXCHANGE

Apex's patented vent allows air to escape from a sealed ear canal while still maintaining standard levels of isolation; allowing music enthusiasts to listen to music for longer periods of time. This venting alleviates listener fatigue and allows for a much more realistic soundstage. Apex is integrated in Trió all the way down to the way the shell is milled, offering similar pressure release and isolation to our m15 module.

LINEAR IMPEDANCE DESIGN

Linear Impedance Design (LID) is a patented circuit which corrects the non-linear electrical resistance of the multiple sets of drivers in this three-driver IEM. Varying source amplifier output impedance in devices like smartphones, body packs, DAC/amps, and DAPs typically results in varying frequency response across them, depending on the increase in resistance. Restoring proper interaction with the source and preserving the desired sound signature enables a consistent reliable sound.
