HBB has adjusted the tuning of the Olina Special Edition for a newly refined sound signature. With this new sound signature, the Olina Special Edition is all set to take the legacy of the Original Olina forward /p>

UPDATED DYNAMIC DRIVER UNIT

The new Olina Special Edition houses an upgraded 10mm dynamic driver unit. The pair adopts a 10mm second-generation CNT (Carbon Nanotube) Diaphragm dynamic driver unit which is identical to the original Olina, although the driver has been updated for the Olina Special Edition. Tripowin has updated the driver with a reinforced diaphragm structure effectively increasing the surface membrane tension, resulting in a quicker driver response.

BETTER TONALITY WITH IMPROVED TUNING

The biggest improvement on the Olina Special Edition over the Original Olina is the improved tuning. It entirely changes the sound presentation with a new rich tonality. The new updated dynamic driver allows for a greater sub-bass impact. With HBB’s new tuning profile, Olina Special Edition has a 3dB increase at the 10Hz frequency region. This brings a more powerful sub-bass punch. Olina SE also gets a refined treble region with smoother upper mids presenting natural vocals and even high-frequency response.

ALL-ALUMINUM HOUSING WITH SEA TURTLE LOGO

Tripowin Olina SE has got a stunning look with a new and unique logo. The shells here are made using high-quality aluminum material in a sleek black anodized finish. The pair keeps its connections with HBB’s Hawaiian roots with a unique sea turtle logo etched into the faceplates. The shells are carved in a comfortable, ergonomic shape promising a comfortable fit for long hours of usage.

HIGH-PURITY OCC COPPER CABLE

Tripowin Olina SE comes with a high-purity Oxygen-Free OCC Copper cable. It’s a 4-core cable with high-purity wire cores that helps in transmitting the sound signal with low internal resistance. The cable adopts standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors and a standard 3.5mm single-ended termination plug.

Great set overall

Very clear and balanced sound signature, soundstage feels wide and great detail. It plays every genre of music well. Only issue I have with these is the fit. The shells are a bit small so i can't get a proper seal and when it comes to technicalities its kinda lacking.

A leader in its class

The Olina SE is proof that you do not need multiple drivers to get a good, balanced tuning. The whole iem is a package; the build quality, for both the iem and cable are solid, the driver is my first 2nd gen CNT driver and sounds crazy good for the price. I would say that the Olina SE is almost a budget Moondrop blessing 2 in disguise, the whole frequency range is tuned so tastefully.
You just can't go wrong with this iem, you could only later regret it if you don't get this now!
