THOR - Mjolnir MKII Wired IEM

Mjölnir MKII IEM features a custom 12.56mm Fusion Diaphragm dynamic driver, which has never before been seen. The Fusion Diaphragm is made from a composite of DLC (diamond-like carbon), PEEK (polyetheretherketone), and PU (polyurethane). These membranes are each popular in the industry for their acoustic performance, but the Fusion Diaphragm harnesses every advantage of each of them by combining them. The DLC's stiffness produces a punchy sub-bass impact, while PEEK's thinness and responsiveness allow smooth, detailed mid-range playback. PU is not often used alone, but in composite settings, it can produce a smooth and airy treble, with the additional benefit of being tunable.

An acoustic chamber 3D-printed with a micro-vent on the front reduces changes in sound curve among dynamic drivers often caused by internal pressure buildup. Additionally, the rear acoustic chamber is designed to exact dimensions, and is provided with a replaceable Knowles dampening apparatus which is used in balanced armature drivers. It allows for pressure relief, but also allows the user to adjust rear damping levels by switching out the apparatus. Thus, the bass response can be adjusted to the user's preferences.

The Mjolnir Copper IEM combines all these components with a powerful magnet capable of 1.6T of magnetic flux for an exceptionally well-layered and impressive listening experience. The layers of separation between each instrument and frequency response still allow for a refined and professional playback, suitable for stage bass guitarists and drummers.

The MKII Handful DIY IEM comes with a replaceable, silver-plated copper cable with high-resolution. It allows the user to select the cable that best suits his or her sound preference and comfort, as well as ensuring the longevity of the IEM.

THOR is made up of only a singular engineer who hand builds each unit as a DIY hobby during their freetime. Thus, each product is guaranteed to be unique and bespoke.
