It supports hardware decoding for PCM audio up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD up to DSD512, ensuring accurate and detailed sound reproduction. This capability allows the CD-20 to process a wide range of high-spec audio files, delivering studio-quality sound across various devices.

DUAL POWERFUL HEADPHONE OUTPUT

With both a 3.5mm single-ended and a 4.4mm balanced jack, the CELEST CD-20 offers flexible options for different headphone configurations. The 3.5mm single-ended jack for standard headphones, while the 4.4mm balanced jack enhances audio performance by delivering a balanced signal, which reduces crosstalk and provides clearer sound. The CELEST CD-20 portable DAC features two output modes—high and low-level—to accommodate a wide range of headphones. In high-level balanced mode, it can deliver up to 4Vrms, making it capable of driving headphones that require more power, such as high-impedance models. This ensures both portable and more demanding headphones are supported with clean, distortion-free audio. Note: It is recommended to only connect headphones to one jack at a time to ensure proper signal flow and avoid any performance issues.

SEAMLESS GAMING EXPERIENCE WITH UAC1.0 MODE

The CD-20 supports UAC1.0 mode, making it fully compatible with gaming consoles such as PS5, Switch, and PS4 Pro, delivering precise sound positioning and immersive surround sound for an enhanced gaming experience. By default, the device operates in UAC2.0 mode, but it can be manually switched to UAC1.0 mode when required. Note: The mode cannot be changed while the device is in operation. To set the CD-20 to UAC1.0 mode, disconnect the device (ensuring it is powered off), press and hold Button 2, and then connect it to a USB Type-C port (e.g., Computer, Smartphone, or Game Console). Once connected, the device will automatically switch to UAC1.0 mode, ensuring compatibility for gaming.

UNIVERSAL TYPE-C TO TYPE-C COMPATIBILITY

The CD-20 is compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices, allowing easy connection to a wide range of platforms like smartphones, tablets, computers, and gaming consoles. It comes with a Type-C to Type-C cable, and you can purchase additional OTG cables for other device connections.
