Great in its price

Why i bought these :
I had lots of confusion in buying the right iem in this price, ea500, hexa, olina and many other great iems

I was looking for an flatish profile iem, i previously had Kz ZSN pro X and i was looking for an upgrade with slightly flatter profile

Enter tanchjim 4u

After a lot of research i randomly came upon this iem and was skeptical( hexa was my first choice but every review said it has thin vocals and i wanted a more balanced and natural sounding iem with good separation and just something different from V shaped profiles

I wanted to purchase olina SE but out of stock so i stumbled upon these

Ea 500 and ea500lm are great too but they sound little unnatural for me in the upper mid range and i didn't wanted the vocals to be too forward

Now the review :
The 4 way switch/dial is just unnecessary s, tick it ro default (atmosphere settings and you are good to go... Can turn the dial to pop setting for less bass and more separation.

Soundstage is average not like hexa but commendable still better than my previous iems(kz zsn pro x)

Vocals are well defined and have good weight
Piano sounds great and so do the other instruments

The bass may feel lacking sometimes but lil equaliser makes up for it in pop mode without bass bleed in the mids

Get a good dac( Rs
4000-6000) i have the ifi go link and they sound great.

Another reason i bought it was because of its 32ohm impedance

The ifi go link cranks the hell out of 16-25ohm iem at that price and i didn't wanted to damage my ears (. I used to hear at 1-2 level of volume on the kz and i felt like i would go deaf because they became too loud for me on the ifi go link) . With these now i have the volume almost half and I'm fine

Without dac normal budget phones don't really do them justice.

Another tip let the iems burn infor at least 3 days ( 6-7hr playing and they will sound much better at day 4

The build quality is great

Cable is average quality (would replace them later)

They wouldn't impress you they just sound good that's all there it isnto them.. If you are looking for something exciting there are other iems but if you are looking for the laid back sound and lil analytical to hear the instruments clearly these will do just fine for a long time

You can occasionally switch between pop and atmosphere mode ( i found in atmosphere mode the details were effected with rise in bass so i stick to pop mode and made some changes(increased) sub bass frequency and now it just perfect al the details are there and the bass is more like quality than quantity.. You will hear the bass guitar and lower keys of piano but you will not feel its vibrations too much.. Its like will know they are there.. So don't buy it for bass
