Description

COLLABORATION OF QKZ & HBB

With over 10 years of experience in the HiFi industry, QKZ is known for its remarkable tuning and production techniques. The newly launched earphones from QKZ are a collaboration with HBB (Hawaiian Bad Boy from "Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews"). QKZ develops this acoustic sound signature that is well-balanced in three frequencies based on the tuning and optimization of HBB and its years of experience.

10MM TITANIUM-COATED DIAPHRAGM

QKZ HBB is equipped with a powerful 10mm Titanium-Coated diaphragm to deliver a detailed, accurate sound. HBB designed an acoustic structure for impressive sound quality.

HIGH- INTENSITY MAGNETIC CIRCUIT

QKZ enhanced high-intensity magnetic circuit improves bass performance. HBB's special tuning reproduces crystal clear sounds with enough bass for people to crank it up a bit, yet still hear every instrument and vocal detail of what is playing in their headphones. A good choice for R&B, DJs, stage performances, metal.

CNC ALUMINIUM FACEPLATE

A combination of audio and design, the earphone is characterized by a unique logo reflecting HBB's Hawaiian origins. A CNC-processed aluminum faceplate has been etched directly with this design to match the clear resin shell. A CNC aluminum alloy faceplate adds durability without weighing you down.

HIGH QUALITY STOCK CABLE

QKZ HBB Comes with high-quality Silver-plated cable. This cable transmits sound signals efficiently and with low coloration, and provides lower resistance to the sound signal. Each wire is covered with an insulating layer during transmission to prevent signal loss. A Standard 0.75mm 2 Pin Connector is used.

HD MICROPHONE

HBB comes with an in-line microphone on the cable for making calls and voice recordings. There is a single button control for functions such as skipping tracks/playing, pausing/answering/rejecting calls.

COMFORTABLE FIT WITH ERGONOMIC, LIGHTWEIGHT

QKZ HBB promises a comfortable wearing experience with its ergonomically designed, lightweight ear shells. The shells disappear in your ears with such a comfortable fit.

One of the Budget Kings

Not an audiophile by any means but hope this review helps anyone trying to make a purchase decision. Comparing QKZ x HBB with 7hz salnotes zero and Tangzu Wan'er S.G. The QKZ is the most fun-sounding with good bass and rolled off treble which makes it the least sibilant out of the three. Even though it has good amounts of bass, the mids are clean, a little recessed but it never felt like the bass was bleeding into the mids. I found the 7hz to be slightly sibilant with peaky trebles at higher volumes but with excellent details. The Tangzu Wan'er is a perfect balance between the two with enough quantity of bass, good details and mids being forward without sounding too shouty. I personally would have bought the Wan'er if Tangzu had released it earlier.

If you want a pair for fps gaming/ music the QKZ wins without a doubt. Directional audio for footsteps are pinpoint and you can "pre-aim" based off the sound. You can hear the exact distance behind walls from where the footsteps are coming, making it easy to shoot at the right timing which is difficult in the 7hz or the Wan'er.

TLDR - Get the QKZ for gaming or to satisfy bassheads/ treble sensitive people. Get the Tangzu Wan'er for anything overall except gaming. There's no need to get a 7hz when the Wan'er exists :)

Just Smooth🥰

The QKZ X HBB is really ideal for casual listening and will satisfy most of the listeners in the budget segment. Very well tuned by HBB. Really smooth. No sudden spikes, zero sibilances. Paired with the KZ AZ09 Pro and works flawlessly. I prefer this over the Moondrop Chu which I also own.

Got delivered today ¡!

I like the sound of this iem most of the time compared to moondrop chu.
( I have moondrop chu )

1..Moondrop chu is some times better in clarity but not by much if i am trying to notice it otherwise i don't.

2..Moondrop chu has too liltle bass if you don't listen to bassy songs then it's better to buy ( 7hz salnotes zero )

3..QKZ x HBB has good amount of bass which can be adjusted using EQ , if it's too much for you.

4..Don't increase the bass of QKZ x HBB too much through EQ it will ruin the sound.
