R5 utilizes flagship grade Class-A amplification in this mid-tier Android DAP, and has a continuous high power output capability, with plentiful energy reserves for all types of music. Easily converting power for the most dynamic compositions, the sound is clear and rich.

With 4 separate channels of push-pull amplification with 270° conduction angles constructed using discrete componentry, including 8 high power bipolar transistors paired in parallel, the R5 delivers excellent current output power and control over variable loads. Enjoy class-leading audio with Class A head amp mode! The THD of the amplified output is 0.0006% for unparalleled realism.

Dual ES9219C DACs support DSD256 and PCM768kHz/32bit high-resolution formats, with an SNR of 130dB and THD+N of -112dB. The high accuracy output voltage ensures that the best signal possible is given to the class-A amplifier section for amplification. It also features an integrated DAC-amp output (economy mode) for excellent low power consumption and long playback time.

Dual independent audiophile-grade crystal oscillators at 45.158MHz and 49.152MHz provide you with precise timing of all audio events in your music.

It uses 163 high-precision resistors, 19 Panasonic tantalum POSCAPs, and four ELNA electrolytic capacitors to suppress power supply ripple, resulting in silky black backgrounds.

The 4500mAh battery yields 35 hours of playtime* (*in economy mode), so you don't have to worry about recharging for days! 10 hours of play time is available in Class-A amplification mode for maximum enjoyment of dynamic control and sound quality.
