4 COMPOUND TYRE TREADS: Vittoria 4 compounds (4C) layering technology features separate base and surface compounds, in both the center and the side areas of the tread. This approach enables to fine-tune the flex of the tread-base and tread-surface separately, placing the correct compound exactly where it is needed for maximum cornering, climbing, rolling, and braking performance.
OFF-ROAD TYRE CONSTRUCTION: Vittoria Road bike tyre cover aggressive treads and strengthened constructions to prepare the rider for the huge demands of jumps, drops and various tyre-threatening obstacles typical of mountain biking.
VITTORIA OPEN TUBULAR: The Open Tubular has the same production process and properties as the tubular but without a sown-in inner tube. Open Tubulars are handmade with aramid folding beads for optimal clinching.
CONSTRUCTION: Each tread is glued to the casing by hand. The tubular tire’s round profile delivers several advantages over any clincher. Notably, tubular tires offer superior shock absorption and more predictable cornering. The broad tread-casing interface distributes shock loads more evenly through the casing, allowing the tire to absorb greater impacts without deflecting or slowing down.
