Better than Apple dongle dac?

Well, we have all been at a crossroad with DACs before. This one could be the end of your dongle dac journey. This DAC is just well made and well tuned. I have an apple dac, which is quite flimsy, albiet having good performance. But the Abigail really trades blows with the apple DAC, it is a bit brighter and has better resolution. Although this comes at the cost of a higher noise floor, which is only noticeable when you raise the volume past 80%. Overall, I would say its a solid buy if you have an android device and like a brighter sounding DAC.

A dac that almost does the job!

Great Dac to meet most audiophile needs out there. The fact that you can get a 2vrms output at this price is enough to get this dac. If you are using a 32ohm or higher impedance earphone this will be great as it brings out the sparkle in them. However, I must say that you get what you pay for; even though there is great driver breakup and sparkle to the sound, it does lack some in bass definition in the sub-bass region. This issue can be solved by using a laptop to power this dac. Overall, this is a great purchase and is a blind buy for the quality that you're getting. Cheers!
